Directions:

Metal Slide is recommended for use by hot mix asphalt plants and contractors. It provides the plant operator with new, economical technology to eliminate diesel and other petroleum based products, while maintaining high hot mix product specifications and quality and a clean truck bed too.

Metal Slide is typically applied at a dilution of 20: to 30:1 for conventional mixes. For sticky polymer modified and super pave type asphalts a 10:1 to 15:1 dilution is recommended. For use a truck bed release, completely cover the entire bed surface area before each load using automatic mixing and foaming equipment available from Chemco. Be careful to avoid over use of product. Metal Slide can also be used to prevent asphalt from sticking to any equipment in which asphalt comes in contact with.

Agent Asphalt Release Agent - Metal Slide - Metal Slide is a biodegradable, non-hazard, non-volatile alternative to diesel fuel and other hydrocarbons now banned by most state Dot's. The surfactant package in Metal Slide allows it to be diluted with water. Metal Slide is designed to have high foaming, film forming action when used with standard foaming equipment. Metal Slide is an IDOT approved released agent for use on truck and equipment transporting bituminous mixtures for all Illinois paving projects.

Metal Slide has a pleasant odor and is a safe and economical replacement for diesel and other non-desirable agents. It contains no petroleum solvents.
